Chaka Khan is back with ‘Chakzilla’ – her first album in seven years.
Featuring the new single, ‘Boogie’s In My Soul’ with Snoop Dogg, and the title track, which is also out now, the 10-song set also features collaborations with Lenny Kravitz and Sia.
Arriving on the back of a landmark year, which saw the artist receive a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction.
“This album is about joy. It’s about freedom. It’s about loving yourself, loving each other, and finding your power no matter where you are in life,” says Khan.
“I’ve lived a lot of life since my last record, and I wanted these songs to celebrate that,” she adds. “This music is about being human, feelin’ good, and stepping into our power.”
