P!nk is reportedly gearing up to release her 10th album.
Three years after the US superstar topped the UK charts with her latest LP, ‘Trustfall’, the ‘Never Gonna Not Dance Again’ singer is said to have been back in the studio, working on new material.
According to sources close to the star, P!nk began work on the project after wrapping her global ‘Summer Carnival‘ and ‘Trustfall Tour’ dates, which ran from 2022 through 2024.
Teasing a change in sound, they shared: “Some artists like to work while on the road, but the way P!nk largely works is that when she’s on tour, she’s locked in, so she didn’t start working on the album properly until early last year.”
Revealing the artist has been “quietly going into the studio and finishing tracks”, the insider went on to hint at “huge plans” for the new era, adding: “Right now it’s all about making sure the album is complete and working on the rollout.
“Its not a total change of direction, but the sound has shifted somewhat,” they explained (via The Sun’s Bizarre column). “She is excited to hear what her fans think of where she has gone with this record.”
