Lily Allen has shared a new remix of ‘West End Girl’ closing track ‘Beg For Me’ featuring JADE.
The new version of the song features vocals from the former Little Mix star, including a phone call introduction that sees the artist “check in” with Allen during a time of emotional distress.
“I know there’s a lot going on right now,” she says. “So, how you feeling?” Allen then resumes the original first verse: ‘I feel embarrassed, I feel ashamed / You’re so indifferent, and that’s insane.’
JADE later launches into her own verse, offering her verdict on Allen’s cheating ex: ‘His fragile ego ain’t worth your tears / If we’re being honest, it’s better to find out now than to find out in a few years.’
She also alludes to another ‘West End Girl’ track, ‘Pussy Palace’, adding that ‘no butt plug’s gonna fill the void’ for her cheating ex.
Allen first teased the ‘Beg For Me’ remix on Instagram, writing: “Oops decided I’m not done :)) got another song for youuu. [sic]”
She later announced the release by sharing its official artwork and a clip of JADE’s spoken intro, adding “Guess who…”. JADE replied: “👀.”
