The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2026 has been unveiled, with eight performers being recognised by the prestigious institution.

Back in February, 17 nominees were revealed and after being considered by a panel of more than 1,200 artists, historians and industry professionals, this year’s cohort has been unveiled.

The main ‘Performer’ category consists of Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan.

Six out of the eight inductees are British, marking a record for the Hall of Fame.

Meanwhile, the ‘Early Influence’ category features Fela Kuti, Gram Parsons, Queen Laifah, MC Lyte and Celia Cruz.

The ‘Musical Excellence’ list is made up of Rick Rubin, Linda Creed, Arif Mardin and Jimmy Miller, with Ed Sullivan set to be posthumously recognised with the ‘Ahmet Ertegun Award’.

The induction ceremony will take place on November 14.
