Three years after topping the charts with his latest album ‘The Show’, Niall Horan is preparing to launch into a new era of music.
The former One Direction star – who, earlier this month, released the collaborative single ‘Drive Safe’ with Myles Smith – confirmed work on his fourth solo outing is finished.
In a post to X, featuring a series of behind-the-scenes clips and photographs from recording sessions, he penned: “Album is DONE.”
The ‘Slow Hands’ singer recently spoke on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show with Fleur East, Will Best and James Barr about his new material, revealing: “I’m in here finishing it right now. So I’m in the beat lab!
“I’m just finishing off some vocal bits and things like that, that I wasn’t happy with, but yeah!
“I should have music sometime this year. And I’m very excited about it!”
Horan released his debut solo record ‘Flicker’ in 2017, reaching No. 3 in the UK, before topping the charts with 2020’s ‘Heartbreak Weather’ and 2023’s ‘The Show’.
