Britney Spears‘ memoir ‘The Woman In Me’ is set to be made into a biopic.
The rights to the tome have been acquired by Universal Pictures, where ‘Wicked’ director Jon M. Chu and producer Marc Platt will develop the feature.

In a post on Instagram, the I’m A Slave 4 U hitmaker teased: “Excited to share with my fans that I’ve been working on a secret project with #MarcPlatt. He’s always made my favorite movies … stay tuned.”
Chronicling the superstar’s journey from her ‘Mickey Mouse Club’ days through her conservatorship case, the memoir was widely praised for Spears’ candid account of the highs and lows of her life.
The audiobook — read by actress Michelle Williams, with an introduction by Spears — is the fastest-selling in Simon & Schuster’s history.
