Heart have cancelled their European tour dates while Ann Wilson undergoes a “time sensitive” medical procedure.
The Alone hitmakers had been scheduled to perform across the continent between June 20 and July 12, but they announced on Wednesday (May 29) that their ‘Royal Flush’ concerts would be axed to allow Ann time to recover.
“We regret to inform you that all upcoming Heart performances in Europe are canceled,” reads a statement from the band. “In late May, Ann Wilson will undergo a time-sensitive but routine procedure for which the minimum recovery time is six weeks. Heart deeply regrets this unfortunate circumstance and hopes to return to Europe soon.”
No further details were disclosed about Ann’s procedure, but the singer addressed followers online, writing: “I’m okay! Please don’t worry. I do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. It’s certainly an inconvenience for me. Love & respect always, Ann.”
The band are next scheduled to perform alongside Def Leppard and Journey in Cleveland, Ohio on July 30. They have tour dates lined up across North America for the rest of the year.
