Perrie Edwards looks set to become the latest Little Mix star to go solo – and according to the singer, there’s “music pending”.
The Love Me Like You hitmaker sent fans into a frenzy with a post on social media, showing her posing behind a microphone while recording material.
In the caption, she wrote: “Singing my little heart out… music pending…”
It wasn’t long before fans flooded the comments, with one declaring: “I’M SCREAMING OMG LET’S GOOOOOO.”
“I’m getting toooooo excited,” added a second user, while a third said “The era is coming!” with fire and heart eyes emojis.
Perrie has signed to Columbia Records to launch her solo career and has been working on material for the past year.
She’ll be the third Little Mix star to launch a solo career, following Jesy Nelson – who quit the group in 2020 and released her Top 5 debut, Boyz (feat. Nicki Minaj), the following year – and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, who dropped her first two singles in 2023.
