Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark will release Veruschka as the next single from ‘Bauhaus Staircase’.
The 14th album from the synth-pop group arrives on October 27 and, according to Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys, could be their final release.
Following singles Bauhaus Staircase and Slow Train, a new single, Veruschka, is due on Thursday (October 5).
Alongside the track, a music video will premiere at 7pm BST that day.
Out October 27, ‘Bauhaus Staircase’ arrives as the band’s most explicitly political record and the crowning achievement of their desire to be both Stockhausen and ABBA – born from the impetus to kickstart new explorations during the pandemic.
As Andy admits: “I rediscovered the creative power of total boredom.”
“I’m very happy with what we’ve done on this record,” he adds of the 12-track record. “I’m comfortable if this is OMD’s last statement.”
‘Bauhaus Staircase’ is available to pre-order now.
