Cher has announced her new business venture: Cherlato.
The diva is getting a scoop of the dessert business with her latest project, which launched in Los Angeles this week.
Taking to social media to unveil the brand, the Believe singer shared a video of a vibrant ice cream truck, decorated with images of the singer and the brand name.
“Yep, This Is Real…. I’m Launching My Gelato…. Watch Out LA!” she penned. “All Started 5 Years Ago And Now It’s Finally HAPPENING. More to come…”
It comes as the pop legend prepares for another career first – the release of her first-ever Christmas album, recording of which she recently confirmed is almost complete.
The follow-up to her 2018 ABBA covers collection, ‘Dancing Queen’, has taken a series of turns, with talk of a sequel to that LP along with an album of original material she was working on with ex-boyfriend Alexander Edwards.
However, the Walking In Memphis star has promised a holiday record is on the way, sharing on Twitter: “Almost Finished [Christmas emojis] 2 more …12. [sic]”
In a subsequent post, she added: “Many Surprises. This is Cher [Christmas] Album. Not Ur Mamas [Christmas]. It’s scary to make something so Different . I [love] it, One Som is one of favorites EVER. [sic]”
While firm details of the release have yet to be confirmed, Cher confirmed a physical release with vinyl editions of the LP.
