Soft Cell have announced a pair of companion releases to their latest Top 10 LP, ‘*Happiness Not Included’. 

Originally released last spring, the album entered the UK charts at No. 7 – their highest placement in four decades – and features the Pet Shop Boys collaboration, Purple Zone. 

Building the world around the record, ‘*Happiness Now Extended’ features longer versions of all 12 tracks from the original release, while ‘*Happiness Now Completed’ includes 10 brand new Marc Almond and Dave Ball tracks, plus unreleased mixes, remixes and single-only tracks. 

The album also includes a newly re-recorded version of fan favourite Last Chance, with the addition of a full brass section, plus cover versions of Fad Gadget’s Back To Nature and X-Ray Spex’s The Day The World Turned Day Glo. 

Lead track First Hand Experience in Second Hand Love was originally recorded by Giorgio Moroder, a huge influence on Soft Cell.

Both albums are out July 28 on BMG and available to pre-order now.
