Madonna’s Ray of Light is the latest track from her catalogue to be issued on digital platforms as an expanded single package.
Released in April 1998, the track was a global chart smash and club staple, appearing on her seventh studio album of the same name.
Coinciding with the anniversary of the LP, which turns 25 this year, the Queen of Pop has released a massive nine-song package on digital platforms, featuring a bunch of remixes from William Orbit, Victor Calderone and Sasha.
Also included is the original B-side Has To Me, marking its digital debut.
Later this year, Madonna will embark on her 40th anniversary ‘Celebration Tour’ which, according to a press release, will take us on her artistic journey through four decades and pays respect to the city of New York where her career in music began.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” says Madonna.
Bob the Drag Queen a.k.a. Caldwell Tidicue will guest across all dates on the global tour.
Tickets are on general sale now.
