P!nk performed her heartfelt new single When I Get There live for the first time during her BBC Radio 2 Piano Room appearance.
Ahead of the release of her ninth album ‘Trustfall’, the superstar stopped by the show for a three-song set, also featuring her 2012 hit single Try and a cover of Nothing Compares 2 U by Prince.
When asked by host Gary Davies whether she still gets nervous about releasing albums, P!nk admits: “I do because I care. This one especially – I haven’t been this giddy about it in awhile. I feel, because of the time we were able to take to curate this, I feel like I made a real body of work. No throwaway songs whatsoever.
“Not that I don’t feel great about other albums. I guess the maturity and experience and also what’s been going on the last three years, it’s been an insane rollercoaster.”
On claims that it’s her “most personal” album to date, she adds: ‘They’re all personal, but I feel very proud. I feel very settled – and anxious!’
