Rachel Stevens isn’t ruling out returning to the studio for one more album.
The pop favourite released two albums – Funky Dory and Come and Get It – in the early 00s, with hit singles including Sweet Dreams (My LA Ex), Some Girls, and I Said Never Again (But Here We Are) leaving us all gagging for more.
Speaking to Daily Mail, the former S Club star touched on her musical career, and admitted the idea of recording new music “comes up now and again”.
“Music is such a big part of our lives,” she said. “I haven’t recorded for ages, but it comes up now and again, I talk about it and think about it. There’s potential might want to do some more shows, or music of some kind, I just don’t know what way yet.”
Despite stepping away from the spotlight, music never truly left Rachel’s sights, however, as she’s been raising her daughters – who both want to follow in her pop star shoes.
“We’ve always got music on in our house, my kids have now got the buzz,” the Negotiate With Love star added. “Amalie’s definitely wants to be a singer, that’s going to be her career.”
If she’s inherited her mum’s ear for a bop, we’re ready for it!
