Alison Goldfrapp is set to release her first solo album.
The Goldfrapp frontwoman has released seven albums as one-half of the electronic duo, with their most recent LP ‘Silver Eye’ arriving in 2017.
In a post on social media, the hitmaker revealed she’s been working away on new material, which she’ll release under her own name.
“Hello! I’ve been making new songs and I can’t wait for you to hear them,” reads a visual, along with the caption: “New music coming very soon.”
In an accompanying video, she says: “I’m very excited to tell you that I’ve been in the studio writing some new songs for the first time in my own name and I can’t wait to share it with you all very very soon.”
The Ooh La La star also revealed she’s joined TikTok, with her channel featuring a clip of the singer introducing clips from the Goldfrapp catalogue.
