Everything But The Girl will release their long-awaited 11th studio album in 2023.
The duo, starring married couple Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn, released their first album, ‘Eden’, in 1984 and delivered 10 long-players through 1999’s ‘Temperamental’.
Since then, they’ve worked on a number of solo projects and suggested it’s unlikely they’ll ever record or release together again – but in a social media post on Wednesday, they confirmed new music is on the way.
Just thought you’d like to know that we have made a new Everything But The Girl album. It’ll be out next spring. Love, Ben and Tracey 😍@ben_watt@tracey_thorn

Everything But The Girl scored four UK Top 10 singles and 12 Top 40 singles, with their biggest hit Missing also peaking at No. 2 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1995.
They haven’t performed together publicly since 2000.
