Diana Ross has reportedly teamed up with Tame Impala on a new collaborative album due “soon”.
It was previously reported that the I’m Coming Out hitmaker had joined forces with the psychedelic pop act on new music and, over the weekend, posters for the project have been spotted in London.
According to the promo, the LP also features Phoebe Bridgers, St. Vincent, Brittany Howard, Thundercat, Brockhampton and Weyes Blood, with Jack Antonoff listed as producer. His band Bleachers is also listed as a featured artist.
Insiders previously told The Sun: “Diana might be 77 but she is determined to push musical boundaries and challenge herself.
“She loves reinvention and melting genres together. She’s really excited to work with Tame Impala and is ecstatic with the track – she can’t wait for fans to hear it.”
The Motown icon returned in 2021 with ‘Thank You’; her 25th solo album and first of original material since 1999.
It comes as Diana prepares to return to the UK for a string of live summer shows, including her Legends performance at Glastonbury.
