Mel C and Ronan Keating will perform musical sets from the comfort of their own homes for the latest instalments of BBC Radio 2’s House Music sessions series.
The stars will perform with the BBC Concert Orchestra and chat to host Ken Bruce during the segment, which will air during his morning show on weekdays.
Spice Girls star Mel will kick off the new wave of performances on July 2nd, with her new single Blame It On Me and classic hit I Turn To You.
On July 7th, she’ll be back with an extra performance of the Spice Girls’ classic Say You’ll Be There.
Meanwhile, Ronan is set to perform on July 30th, when he’ll sing the Boyzone classic When You Say Nothing At All and his new single Little Thing Called Love.
Other performers include Jack Savorertti, who will take the mic on July 9th to sing recent single Youth And Love, and his hit Breaking The Rules.
Finally, on August 6th, Aloe Blacc will deliver his new single, My Way, plus his best-known track, 2011’s I Need A Dollar.
“Radio 2 House Music was launched during the lockdown so we could still delight Radio 2 listeners with some wonderful live music,” said host Ken Bruce, while announcing the latest performances.
“We’ve had great guests so far and that will continue with these music stars in July and August.”
