Boy George stepped up to the mic for a stunning three-song set as part of Rolling Stone’s In My Room video concert series.
The Culture Club frontman took centre stage at a London venue, along with guitarist Kevan Frost, for new live performances of latest single Isolation, Frantic, and a cover of Mary Gauthier’s Mercy Now.

George wrote Isolation before the coronavirus pandemic, but the track feels especially significant during the ongoing health crisis.
In a comment accompanying the official Isolation video, the Karma Chameleon singer explained: “This has zero to do with what’s going on now (ie. the coronavirus pandemic) but perhaps everything in some way…”
However, suddenly lines like, “You don’t know how it feels to be here without you / You don’t know how it feels to be alone,” become all the more ironic.
The track is from the star’s new solo album, Geminis Don’t Read The Manual, which is due for release later this year.
In addition to his new album, George is also planning to head into the studio with this The Voice Australia contestant, after she wowed with an operatic rendition of one of his classic hits.
