The Spice Girls singer was honoured at the ceremony on Thursday, August 27, which recognises those who positively represent the LGBTQ+ community in the public eye.
Demi Lovato, who came out as non-binary this year, took home the Celebrity of the Year award, cementing her status as one of the most prominent queer celebrities today.

Russell T Davies’ Channel 4 drama ‘It’s a Sin’, starring Olly Alexander, won the Media Moment award, while Nicola Adams took the Role Model accolade after being part of the first-ever same-sex pairing on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
Singer and ‘The Voice UK’ coach Anne-Marie won the MTV Music Artist Award.
Comedian Tom Allen took home the Broadcaster of the Year award, while ‘This Morning’ host Phillip Schofield was given a Special Recognition after coming out as gay.
Meanwhile, Hilary Clinton was named as Global Ally of the Year for her work supporting the LGBTQ+ community worldwide.
