McFly have released the long-awaited studio recording of Dragonball.
The track is believed to have been written in the late ‘00s and submitted as a possible contender for the soundtrack to ‘Dragonball: Evolution’.
While it ultimately didn’t make the soundtrack of the film, the tune became a firm fan favourite after an acoustic demo leaked online – and the group delighted fans by finally releasing a complete recording of the track.
Earlier this year, Dragonball was made available exclusively on the McFly Total Access platform, on which the group shares exclusive video content, live stream performances and band Q&As.
Access costs £9.99 per month or £99 annually.
McFly have been keeping busy amid the pandemic, as they continue to promote their latest LP ‘Young Dumb Thrills’.
A UK Tour is set to kick off September in support of the record, following a string of Summer festival shows. Tickets are on sale now.
