Martin Fry is revisiting ABC’s Beauty Stab album as part of The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess’ Twitter listening party series.
The group’s second studio album was released in 1983, and features hits including That Was Then but This Is Now and S.O.S.
While the record a drastic departure from the group’s debut, The Lexicon of Love, and was not as commercially successful as its predecessor, it still landed in the UK top 20 and scored two top 40 hits.
Announcing the online event, Burgess tweeted: “Friday June 26th 10pm (U.K. time).
