Liam Gallagher has given the biggest hint yet that Oasis have a new album on the way.
The rocker sent fans on X into a frenzy when he replied to a post referencing the group’s seven studio albums and appeared to confirm that he and his brother Noel have another in the works.

In response to the post saying “Oasis have SEVEN great albums and those songs will LIVE FOREVER,” he said: “8 including the new 1 I mean happy birthday. [sic]”
It comes after Gallagher said he “can’t see” the band touring again after their upcoming 2027 run without fresh material, after being urged to “write some new tunes while you’re at it”.
“Listen if all goes well with the tour I guess nxt step is to have a chat about new music,” he replied. “Can’t see us touring again unless we have new music does that make sense Rasta.”
The band are returning to the road next year for their ‘Live ’27’ tour, two years after their last global trek, with shows across the UK, Europe and the US, including a massive 11 shows at Manchester’s Ethiad Stadium and six shows at Knebworth.
