5ive star Ritchie Neville has paid tribute to his stepdad after he passed away, following a three-year cancer battle.
The Keep On Movin’ singer took to Twitter on Monday to share the sad news, alongside a snap of his young daughter with her step-grandfather.
Beneath the black-and-white snap of his Ella Rose being pushed on a swing, he penned: “The disease tried to take his dignity, it failed. A loving grandfather and a man so stubborn in the face of adversity. The bar’s been set high.
“Never once wanted a seconds sympathy, just quality time with the people he loved most. I never realised how strong a man he was until now.

“The family says goodbye to a true warrior of old school proportions. We are all so proud and inspired by you and you’ve left a massive hole.”
He added: “Your memory will live on through all of us. Rest in peace mate. I salute you.”
Ritchie shot to fame in the 90s boyband, alongside Jason ‘J’ Brown, Abz Love, Scott Robinson and Sean Conlon.
The group still tours as a three-piece, with Ritchie, Scott and Sean.
