Madonna is releasing a new fragrance inspired by her Madame X alter-ego.
The star released her hit 14th album, Madame X last year, featuring the hits Medellin, Crave, I Rise and I Don’t Search I Find, and toured the record in theatres across the US and Europe.
While that era might have come to an end earlier this year, its legacy will live on with the new scent, which Madonna unveiled in a social media clip alongside screenwriter pal Diablo Cody.
Revealing the perfume comes in a square bottle with Madame X pasted on the front, she gushed: “I think personally that it’s a little strong when you first put it on, but then 30 minutes into exchanging chemistry with your skin it evaporates, the heaviness of it, and it’s quite nice.”

The Vogue star is working with Cody on a biopic based on her life and career, with the pair sharing several clips online of themselves engaged in the creative process.
