Cher has been forced to delay two new movie projects due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The singer, actress, and undisputed diva told Billboard that, along with her new ABBA covers album, she was set to appear in two big-screen flicks.
However, she lamented the jobs have been put on hold for now due to the Covid-19 crisis.
“I can still work on music here, but I was going to do two movies and I don’t know when that will happen now,” the Strong Enough star explained.
“There is a backlog of films too, so things that were about to go in production will happen first when it starts back up,” she said. “But honestly, I don’t know when our lives will come back together in a way where we would feel safe going into a studio or going to work again.
“I can’t imagine that’s going to happen for a long, long time.”
The comments come as the star prepares to release her new UNICEF charity single, the Spanish version of ABBA’s hit Chiquitita, on Friday.
