Years & Years have released their latest single Sweet Talker.
The group, fronted by Olly Alexander, announced the single on social media alongside its artwork, featuring the singer’s open mouth and blue tongue.
Years & Years’ new album ‘Night Call’ is inspired by ABBA and the “weird” story arcs in the Swedish pop icons’ songs.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Olly said: “Well, you know who was an inspiration in the studio? Well, amongst others, ABBA,” admitted Olly.
“You know how ABBA just take you on a journey? And suddenly there’ll be a shift or a change, and you’re just like, ‘Oh, take me with you.’ So, yeah. They’re so weird.”
‘Night Call’, out January 7, is available to pre-order on CD, vinyl and cassette (including limited variants).
