Will Young was unveiled as Lionfish on Saturday night’s edition of ‘The Masked Singer’.
The Jealousy hitmaker was unmasked on the UK edition of the international franchise following his performance of I Will Always Love You on the main show.
After being unmasked following a sing-off battle with Firework, in which he belted out Celeste’s Stop This Flame, Will confessed he struggled to hide his identity.
Addressing judge Jonathan Ross, who guessed the Evergreen hitmaker, he said: “I was most concerned about you Jonathan noticing my voice. It’s been really hard to try and disguise it.”
Will also shared his secret health struggle with host Joel Dommett, revealing: “It’s been the most incredible opportunity and such a brilliant challenge to take on.
“As someone who’s agoraphobic, it’s the perfect show!”
Agoraphobia is defined as a fear of taking yourself from a familiar environment into the outside world.]
Will’s return to the stage comes as he prepares to celebrate the 20th anniversary of winning the very first series of ‘Pop Idol’.
Alongside releasing a new greatest hits collection, Will has also announced plans to hit the road with a string of UK Tour dates in the pipeline.
