Kylie Minogue delivered a spectacle as she made her AFL Grand Final debut with a career-spanning set of her biggest hits.

The Aussie star’s Melbourne homecoming at the city’s Cricket Ground took place ahead of the big game on Saturday (September 26), which saw the Brisbane Lions face Fremantle Dockers before a crowd of more than 100,000 fans.

Beginning with a pre-recorded sequence celebrating her Melbourne roots, in which she recited lyrics from Australian football anthem ‘One Day in September’, the 20-minute set kickstarted with ‘Love at First Sight’ and featured several of the artist’s biggest hits, including ‘All the Lovers’, ‘Spinning Around’, ‘The Loco-Motion’ and ‘Slow’.

With production including a giant red football bearing her name and 100 dancers, Minogue was joined by a host of special guests; G Flip returned after their opening set to join Minogue on ‘Padam Padam’, with William Barton appearing on Confide in Me’ and Dom Dolla remixing “Can’t Get You Out of My Head.”

During the final track, she soared above the crowd in a flowing white outfit with a silver-trimmed bodice and sunglasses, leading a sing-a-long with the crowd.
