Beyoncé channels Nick Kamen as the face of the latest Levi’s TV commercial.
The US superstar appears in a remake of the classic advert, set in a launderette, which sees her arrive with a bucket of diamonds, before taking off her denim to reveal her white underwear and placing them in a machine.
The clip is soundtracked by her song Levii’s Jeans from the album ‘Cowboy Carter’.
Beyoncé said: “My song Levii’s Jeans celebrates what I believe is the ultimate Americana uniform – something we all wear with pride.
“I am honoured to work with Levi’s to create quintessential American iconography.
“Denim on denim has often been seen through a male lens, so this reimagining campaign, which celebrates the iconic female perspective, is important to me.”
The original 1985 TV ad featured Marvin Gaye’s I Heard It Through The Grapevine, with model-turned-singer Nick Kamen appearing in his boxers.
