***Spoiler Alert***
Vanessa Williams gave fans everything they wanted and more with her performance on this week’s RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race.
The 90s diva was one of three contestants on the show, alongside Talk Show Host Loni Love and TV personality Tami Roman, with the trio competing to raise money for their respective charities.
In the new show, which is in its second episode, the celebrity contestants are mentored by former Drag Race competitors – with season 10 favourite Asia O’Hara partnered with Vanessa for the instalment.
Becoming her new persona Vanqueisha De House, the contestants performed in Twerkin’ 5 to 9 – an “unauthorised Rusical” based on music by Dolly Parton.
After impressing judges RuPaul, Michelle Visage, Ross Matthews, and Carson Cresley, Vanessa – who is preparing to return to London to resume her West End show – went on to win the show, taking home $30,000 for non-profit The Trevor Project.
The organisation is focussed on preventing suicide amongst LGBTQ+ youth, helping counsellors, educators, administrators, school nurses, and social workers stage successful interventions.
After the show aired on Friday, fans went wild on social media, with Vanessa the No. 1 trending topic.
