UB40 featuring Ali Campbell is the final act confirmed for Hampton Court Palace Festival 2022.
The group will hit the stage for an outdoor gig on June 9, amid a series of live concerts set to take place at the landmark venue.
It comes after Ali recently played a batch of shows in the UK in memory of UB40’s Astro, who passed away after a “very short illness” last November.
In a statement at the time, Ali said: “I can’t wait to get back on stage and see all our wonderful fans. It’s going to be incredibly difficult without Astro by my side.
“Remembering Astro, let the music play on. Big love, Ali.”
They join a line-up including The Human League, Crowded House, Jack Savoretti, Elbow, McFly, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, and more.
The festival takes place at a 3,000-seat auditorium in Base Court, set against the backdrop of Henry VIII’s Tudor Palace.
