Tony Hadley resorted to desperate measures in lockdown and buzzed off his trademark quiff with the dog clippers.
The Spandau Ballet star took to Twitter to share a clip of him sat in the garden as chunks of hair fell before his eyes.
“I’ve finally succumbed to the dog clippers,” he laughed. “My quiff was just… well, there’s no quiff left now!
“It’s OK, I’m prepared to lose my quiff,” he continued. “It’s fine – what I’m going to look like at the end of this, I don’t know.”

As her dad appeared taken aback by his new style, daughter Genevieve shared some words of encouragement.
“I like your quiff,” the 8 year old said, as the Gold hitmaker responded, “Thank you, Genevieve. Thank you.”
Sharing the clip, Tony wrote in the caption: “I knew this day would come, I just couldn’t take it anymore and some drastic action was needed!”
In a later post, the star showed off the results – which, we have to say, aren’t too shabby!
“This the result, yes I look like a US MARINE CORP recruit, but it will grow back!” he wrote

The hitmaker’s got a week to get used to his new look before he performs in the virtual 80s Lockdown Fest next weekend.
