The Killers have been presented with an award to mark their record-breaking six-night residency at The O2, London.
The Las Vegas group performed six nights at the venue as part of their ‘Rebel Diamonds’ greatest hits tour on July 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11, celebrating two decades since their debut.

With over 105,000 tickets sold across the dates, it marks the highest sales for any music act at The O2 this year.
The trophy was created by the venue, featuring imagery of The Killers’ shows and a piece of the tent fabric that makes up the venue’s roof.
“The six-night residency of The Killers at The O2 has been a phenomenal experience to be a part of,” said Matt Woolliscroft, Promoter at SJM Concerts of the milestone. “In the 20 years that I have been working with the band, the ‘Rebel Diamonds’ tour has seen, in my opinion, their best performances, best production and best setlists.
“Every night the audience reaction and energy has been incredible. The night of the Euros semi-final at The O2 was a true once-in-a-lifetime ‘I was there’ moment, and it was a privilege to be in the room for it.
“Each time they tour the UK, I am left thinking that they can’t get any better live, then the next time they come over they once again reach new heights.”
At their July 11 show, the band paused their performance to broadcast England winning their semi-final game against The Netherlands, with red and white streamers firing over the crowd as the band broke into a celebratory rendition of Mr. Brightside.
