The Feeling have joined forces with Nashville-based British singer-songwriter Lucie Silvas on their new single I Won’t Sleep Tonight.
The soaring duet is the second single to be lifted from the band’s forthcoming album ‘San Vito’, out April 12, following lead track The Right Wrong.
Frontman Dan Gillespie Sells says: “This song is about that moment after a big argument, when you’re alone and hoping desperately that things can go back to normal. We initially recorded the main track and could hear immediately that it would make a great duet.
“I have always been a fan of Lucie Silvas and we knew her stunning voice would elevate the song to a whole new level. That and some amazing pedal steel guitar playing by the legendary B.J. Cole. I think it’s quite a special track. Collaborating with brilliant artists is one of the great highlights of the job!”
Lucie adds: “This duet was so much fun to record and felt like a full circle moment to sing with a band I’ve been a fan of for years, since we first met. Their sound is so unique and brings all the kinds of music and songwriting I love together.”
