Taylor Swift will release Fortnight featuring Post Malone as the lead single from ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.
The US superstar releases her 11th studio album on Friday (April 18), hours ahead of which she announced the lead single from the project will be its opening song, a collaboration with the singer-songwriter and rapper.

“The first single from The Tortured Poets Department is…………. Fortnight featuring @postmalone,” she shared in a social media post, featuring the single artwork. “I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever.
“I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on Fortnight.
“Honestly can’t wait for you guys to hear this song at Midnight TONIGHT and see the video at 8pm ET TOMORROW.”
Swift announced her latest album – the follow-up to 2022’s ‘Midnights’ and Taylor’s Versions of ‘Speak Now’ and ‘1989’ – at the Grammy Awards back in February, while accepting the Best Vocal Pop Album prize.
“OK, this is my 13th Grammy, which is my lucky number. I don’t know if I’ve ever told you that,” she said as she took to the stage.
“So I want to say thank you to the fans by telling you a secret that I have been keeping from you for the last two years, which is that my brand-new album comes out April 19th.
“It’s called ‘The Tortured Poets Department’,” she added: “I’m going to go and post the cover right now backstage. Thank you, I love you!”
