As Sugababes come close to finishing work on their new album, there’s one collaborator they’d love to work with: Charli XCX.
The trio are set to embark on their biggest-ever UK and European arena tour throughout spring 2025, with a new studio record expected to arrive alongside the run of shows.
Asked who they would love to work with, Mutya Buena said: “Definitely Charli XCX but I’ve never met her.”
“The Neptunes, Pharrell Williams – we love working with such creative minds,” she added (via The Sun’s Bizarre column).
Although a release date has yet to be confirmed, the group – also starring Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy – are set to drop new music in time for the tour.
Siobhan added: “It’s very close to being finished, and we’re really excited about it.”
Starting at Leeds’ First Direct Arena, the About You Now hitmakers will be playing shows across the UK, in cities including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle and Glasgow.
From there, the they’ll head to Europe for shows in Antwerp, Amsterdam, Cologne, Berlin, Paris, Zurich and Milan.
“We are so excited to announce our biggest-ever UK and European tour,” Sugababes said in a joint statement.
“The last few years have been an absolute blast, and we can’t wait to hit the road together next spring! Wait until you see what we’ve got up our sleeve! See you in April!”
