Gary Kemp will join Tim Burgess to revisit Spandau Ballet’s classic album True as part of The Charlatans frontman’s Twitter listening party series.
The 1983 release is packed with classic hits, including the title track and the iconic Gold, and Gary will share stories from the era and delve into the album track-by-track as he heads online on June 1.
Announcing the guitarist’s involvement, Tim tweeted: “Monday June 1st 9pm (UK time) #TimsTwitterListeningParty.

Fans will no doubt be hoping Gary addresses brother Martin’s suggestion that the group could reunite with Tony Hadley for a special NHS benefit gig later this year.
