Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon is doing his bit to help organisations in need amid the coronavirus crisis.
The star took to Twitter to spotlight two companies in need of support during the tough times – including the NHS hospital where he used to work as a porter.
Writing about the Northwick Park Hospital, he said: “They’ve asked me to help with their COVID-19 fundraising. I’m not saying that they need it more than any other hosp. does, but here it is #NHS.”

Fans can donate to help the hospital raise its target of £50,000 to help fund care packs and equipment for staff at the medical facility here.
The Hungry Like The Wolf star also shone a light on the Tall Ships Youth Trust, which is a sail training association in the UK aiding the personal development of young people by allocating them crew positions on ocean yachts.
“I have seen first hand how the Tall Ships Youth Trust changes the lives of thousands of vulnerable young people,” he penned. “Please do anything you can to help ensure the Trust is still here to carry out its life changing work when this pandemic subsides.”

The organisation is aiming to raise £100,000 here.
During the coronavirus crisis, Simon has been engaging with fans online with Facebook Watch parties, and by creating a curated Staying In playlist of his favourite songs.
He’s also hosting the new Duran Duran radio – which you can listen to here.
