Duran Duran frontman Simon Le Bon will headline a celebratory concert marking the late David Bowie’s 75th birthday.
The event, to be held January 8, will also include appearances from bandmate John Taylor, Def Leppard, Living Colour, Ricky Gervais, Rob Thomas, Gary Oldman, Walk the Moon and Jake Wesley Rogers.
Alongside marking Bowie’s milestone birthday, the event will also recognise the 35th anniversary of the 1986 fantasy film ‘Labyrinth’.
During the segment, actress/singer Evan Rachel Wood will deliver a “special performance”.
Meanwhile, the house band for the evening will consist of former Bowie alumni band members from throughout his legendary career, including band leader Mike Garson.
“It’s an honour to be able to continue to share David Bowie’s music with the world,” says the musician.
“I’m excited for everyone to be able to experience this very special show we’ve got in store in celebration of what would have been David’s 75th birthday with the bandmates he recorded and performed with, plus a great group of guest artists who he was such an influence to.”
Tickets are available here. A portion of the ticket sales will go to Save the Children.
Bowie died of liver cancer in 2016, aged 69.
