Shania Twain appears to have finished work on her new album. 

It’s been five years since the country-pop superstar unleashed her comeback LP ‘Now’ and, according to her Instagram bio, it seems the follow-up is almost ready too. 

She cryptically posted: “Finished in the studio.”

When a fan on Twitter said the news “makes me so happy,” Shania reposted their message with an added winking face emoji. 

While details of the project have yet to be confirmed, Shania recently revealed new music is coming this year.

Sharing an infographic detailing her US chart success on social media, the Come on Over hitmaker penned: “In case I needed reminding ahead of releasing new music this year.”

Shania previously teased she’s written “a mountain of songs” during lockdown.

Admitting she has “enough music for three albums,” the Up! star previously shared: “I’ve got a mountain of songs now!

“You know, Covid has lasted so much longer than any of us expected, so I have enough music for three albums now.”
