Shania Twain is among the star-studded line-up for Sabrina Carpenter‘s forthcoming holiday special, set to air on Netflix.
‘A Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter’ debuts on the streamer on December 6, with the Espresso singer sharing the first trailer for the feature at her final ‘Short n’ Sweet Tour’ US stop at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Monday (November 18).
The clip teases duets with the country-pop legend, along with stars including Chappell Roan and Tyla. Although details of the songs in the film have yet to be confirmed, a logline for the show reveals it will include performances of “songs from Carpenter’s holiday EP fruitcake and other iconic chart-topping holiday covers”.
“Christmas is coming early this year — I wouldn’t count on a silent night,” Sabrina declares, before previewing further appearances from Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, and others.
The singer also can be seen sitting on Santa’s lap, who puts a twist on her viral ‘I’m working late because I’m a singer’ lyric by singing: ‘I’m working late because I’m Santa’.
