Shania Twain is marking 25 years of her breakout record, The Woman in Me, with a 25th anniversary re-issue later this year.
The country pop superstar released the record in 1995 and, while it followed her self-titled 1993 debut, The Woman in Me was the first release to showcase her chart-topping collaborations with ex-husband Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange.
Among the tracks featured on the album are Any Man of Mine, Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under, If You’re Not In It For Love (I’m Outta Here) and You Win My Love.
Upon its release, the record landed in the US Top 5 and UK Top 10, and was certified 12× Platinum in America. In Twain’s native Canada, it became her first Diamond album.
The re-release, set to drop on October 2nd, comes in 2- and 3-disc editions, comprising the original album, plus extra discs of bonus material. Alongside the remastered original album, a second disc features live versions and alternate mixes, with a third collection of ‘Shania’s Vocal Mixes’.
Shania kicked off promotion for the release with the Any Man of Mine EP, featuring a remastered edit, a brand new live performance from her Let’s Go! Vegas show, and Shania’s Vocal Mix of the track.
The Woman In Me (Super Deluxe Diamond Edition) is available to pre-order here. A vinyl re-issue is also available.
