Rihanna delivered a set of 12 of her biggest hits during her triumphant Super Bowl Halftime Show.
The superstar took to the stage at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona for the huge show, sporting an all-red look while taking the opportunity to announce her pregnancy with her second child.
With boyfriend A$AP Rocky in the crowd, she stormed through classics including Where Have You Been, Rude Boy, Umbrella, and Only Girl (In The World), with multi-level staging utilising elevated platforms.
Starting her performance on a floating platform high above the field and finishing on a stage that extended almost the entire length of the field, the show encompassed the entire arena with Rihanna having the crowd fixed on her every move.
It marked the Barbadian star’s first live music event in seven years.
Prior to the show, 2020 performer Shakira – who co-headlined with Jennifer Lopez and collaborated with Rihanna on their 2014 hit Can’t Remember to Forget You – took to Twitter to with a good luck message.
Alongside a photo of her and Rihanna together, she penned: “Remembering good times and wishing you the best vibes for tonight’s show, Rih!”
In her own post, 2015 performer Katy Perry also wrote: “Sending you all the love. You got this @rihanna.”
