Perrie is back with her brand new solo single You Go Your Way.
The track is the third offering from the Little Mix star – following Forget About Us and Tears – and explores themes of new beginnings and personal strength.
Originally produced as an underground club single by Joy Anonymous before catching Perrie’s attention during a writing session, the lyrics were inspired by the star’s relationship with fiancé Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
“I told Alex, you go your way and I’ll go mine and if it’s meant to be we’ll find each other again when I am back,” she explains. “He wasn’t happy this idea and made our relationship official there and then!
“Fast forward eight years and we are very happy, engaged and have our beautiful son. I truly believe if you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it’s yours. If not it was never meant to be.”
