Paula Abdul’s hit ‘Forever Your Girl’ era singles have been issued across digital platforms.
The singer shot into the charts in 1988 with Knocked Out – the first of six hit releases from her debut album – which saw her nominated at the 1990 BRIT Awards for International Breakthrough Act.
Follow-up singles The Way That You Love Me, Straight Up, Forever Your Girl, Cold Hearted and Opposites Attract saw her achieve further success, including two UK Top 3 hits, and now expanded versions of the singles have been issued online.
The releases feature extended mixes of the tunes along with a variety of remixes across five digital EPs.
While Forever Your Girl appears in its extended form on the Straight Up release, it doesn’t receive its own maxi-single.
Paula released three albums between 1988 and 1995, including follow-up ‘Spellbound’ – her final UK Top 5 entry. The LP included global chart hits Rush Rush, The Promise of a New Day and Vibeology.
