Oasis have released a rare demo version of Sad Song from the forthcoming reissue of their debut album.
Sad Song (Mauldeth Road West Demo, Nov ’92) sees Liam Gallagher on lead vocals instead of his brother and guitarist, Noel, who recorded the bonus track for their 1994 debut ‘Definitely Maybe’ .
The rare recording is lifted from the upcoming 30th anniversary edition of the album, which is out August 30 and features tracks from the original recording session at Monnow Valley Studios, as well as outtakes recorded at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall.
