*NSYNC are back with Better Place – their first new song in more than 20 years!
Lifted from the soundtrack to the animated movie ‘Trolls Band Together’, it marks the first time since Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick have released music together since 2002’s Girlfriend.
Justin and Anna Kendrick are among the voice cast of the movie, in which it is revealed that his character, Branch. was once part of the boyband BroZone with his four brothers, who have long been estranged.
Although *NSYNC perform the song, they do not voice the boyband characters in the film; instead Troye Sivan, Eric André, Daveed Diggs and Kid Cudi take on the roles.

Following much reunion speculation, the five-piece finally appeared together in public at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), with Lance later telling Entertainment Tonight they had no idea fans would “go this nuts” for their comeback.
“It is beautiful, you know?” he smiled. “To be this age and the fans are still this excited, it is a dream come true. I had no idea the fandom would go this nuts.
“It was pretty emotional, the first time we all got in the studio together. Back in March, we decided to, you know, get back together and have some fun and it was like no [time] had passed.
“But there was a lot of tears. It was just tears of joy. And it was just a beautiful moment. Like, time does so much and for us to finally be together, it just feels right.”
Fans have been calling for NSYNC to go on tour following their reunion and while Lance insisted the group “don’t have solid plans” just yet, it appears future live shows aren’t off the cards.
“I’ve been telling the fans, like, we don’t have solid plans right now. Because, you know, we’re waiting for the [SAG-AFTRA] strike to end [and] we’ve got things to do,” he added. “But [the fans are] definitely shaping our future.”
