New Kids On The Block’s 2008 reunion album, ‘The Block’, has been given a makeover for its 15th anniversary.
Due November 3, ‘The Block Revisited’ includes four previously unreleased songs, in addition to bonus material and a new remix of the track Dirty Dancing.
Of the release, Donnie Wahlberg says: “’The Block’ album didn’t only mark the reunion of our band, it sparked the reunion of our band with our fans! I could never overestimate how much the songs and the spirit of this album mean to all of us.
“‘The Block Revisited’ is a celebration of the magical bond that we’ve built over the last 15 years.”
Marking the band’s first LP in 14 years, following their 1994 split, the record includes the tracks Summertime and Single, along with the Lady Gaga collaboration Big Girl Now. The then-rising star supported the group on their subsequent tour of North America and Europe.
The reissue also features audio recordings from Wahlberg’s late mother, Alma, and Joey McIntyre’s late father, Tom.
‘The Block Revisited’ is available to pre-order now.
