New Kids On The Block have released A Love Like This as the latest single from their forthcoming album, ‘Still Kids’.
The ballad coincides with the 35th anniversary of NKOTB DAY – honorary day has been celebrated annually since April 24, 1989, when it was officially declared a holiday by former Massachusetts governor, Michael Dukakis.
A love letter from New Kids On The Block to their fans – aka Blockheads – and the special bond amongst the fandom, it showcases a different side to the new LP from previous single, Kids.
“The song, A Love Like This, is truly a love letter to our fans. We’ve written and recorded a song that speaks to the enduring, evolving and magical relationship that we’ve shared over the past 35 years,” said Donnie Wahlberg of the new track.
“There is no us without them, and certainly would be no NKOTB Day without their unconditional love and support. This is our special way of giving back to them.”

On the all new album, Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood channel the group’s beginnings while pushing their sound forward.
“It’s the most mature album we’ve ever made,” says Donnie, who is credited as creative director and co-wrote seven of the tracks on ‘Still Kids’. “Yet it’s the most fun and most comfortable album we’ve ever made.”
Joey McIntyre – who co-wrote another six tracks – adds: “It says a lot about any band to make a record that has energy and passion and lightness and fun and depth – after almost 40 years together? It’s crazy.”
“This album, more than any other, is bringing the New Kids and the fans full circle,” Donnie concludes. “It’s about hope and possibilities and being ourselves.”
